CARING FOR YOUR FRVR LOCS
You've got your handmade locs so let's chat about how to protect them!

After Appointment notes:
-
Your locs have been created with high quality virgin hair from double drawn wefts. Because of this, light shedding is normal in the beginning.
-
New Locs are very fragile when wet. Be careful not to pull on the ends while the hair is wet. This will help avoid shedding especially in the first few months.
-
Avoid washing and submerging your locs in water for two weeks after install. Avoid tight styles for the first 2 months. Loose buns and ponytails are fine.
-
Moisturizing your locs with rose water is great for your locs.
-
Refreshing and detangling the ends should be done while locs are dry. To refresh the curly ends, apply water and conditioner or moisturizer/leave in to the ends only, not the body of the loc.Use fingers or the end of a rattail. comb to gently pick put any tangles, being careful not to pull at the ends.
-
Locs in their natural color, can be lightened and/or colored. Though it is not recommended to bleach locs that have already been lightened. We are not responsible for at home lighting and/or color results.

Touch up
Normally your first touch up is within 2.5-4 months after your initial install. However this depends on your personal growth rate. You will need at least 1.5" of hair before your next maintenance appointment.
This will prevent over manipulation of your locs and keeps your hair growing healthy.
